Today, Alok Kumar leads Saarthi GreenTech with a singular mission: to make sustainability practical, accessible, and profitable through hydrogen-enabled innovations for diesel engines.
His journey traces back to Varanasi, where resilience, humility, and perseverance shaped his worldview. Engineering and management education helped blend technical insight with strategic thinking.
Over a 35-year career, Alok has founded and scaled organisations including Sears India, SRKAY Consulting, and Saarthi.
His leadership philosophy centers on empowering others — building leaders, not just companies.
Saarthi GreenTech reflects years of experimentation, failures, redesigns, and breakthroughs in hydrogen-assisted decarbonisation.
The result: a working system capable of reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency across diesel engines of any size.
His wife, Nandani, serves as Director at Saarthi. Their son, studying Economics at King’s College London, represents the next generation of purpose-driven leadership.
